🍙 Konbini Run

Dinner (hut) and breakfast (hut, pre-summit) are provided by Fuji Mountain Guides. Day 2's stop at the 5th station (~10–11 AM) has food for sale. The only gap is Day 1's lunch + trail snacks — and you land the evening before with no other shopping window. Shinjuku has 7-Eleven, Lawson, and FamilyMart everywhere, all open 24/7, an easy walk from the Hilton.

• Calorie Mateカロリーメイト — the go-to Japanese hiking/emergency-ration bar. ~200 kcal per block, shelf-stable, doesn't melt or spoil. Grab a few boxes.
• Weider in Jellyウイダーインゼリー — squeezable energy jelly pouches. Zero prep, easy to eat mid-stride even with gloves on. Huge with Japanese runners/hikers.
• SOYJOY — soy-based fruit bars, another common trail snack, lighter and less sweet than Calorie Mate.

• Onigiriおにぎり — rice balls, dozens of fillings (salmon, tuna mayo, pickled plum). Good for Day 1's lunch specifically — eat within ~24 hrs, don't carry them into Day 2.
• Rice crackersせんべい — fully shelf-stable, no spoilage risk at all.
• Onigiri with mentaiko or okaka — saltier fillings travel and taste better cold than delicate ones.

• Nuts / dried fruit mix — durable, dense calories, no spoilage risk.
• Chocolate bars — actually ideal here since the summit is cold (-5°C to 5°C) — no melting problem, quick calories.
• Umaiboうまい棒 — cheap, light, fun corn puff snack if you want variety.

• Pocari Sweat powder sachetsポカリスエット 粉末 — mix into your hydration bladder. Altitude + exertion dehydrates fast.
• Electrolyte tablets — some konbini and drugstores (Matsumoto Kiyoshi) carry these too.
